The last journal that was up was sooooo freaking old it was bothering me to put up a new one. Every day I was like "Seriously, I need a new journal!"

So thus new journal.

I haven't put up any new artwork in FOREVER, My laptop is broken at the moment (It won't hold a charge anymore, like, the battery and the power cable are BRAND FREAKING NEW, it's the part that you plug the power cord into the back of the laptop that is broken-If I charge my battery on someone else laptop it works perfectly fine >:|)

So anyway, yeah, no new real artwork. I've been sketching a lot lately. I've gotten back into Marvel comics, which I haven't been hardcore into since I was like, 10, so I've been doing a lot of gambit/Rogue stuff ahahah =D.

Me? I'm pretty good, I've been busy as hell between working, college(Yeah, finally re-enrolled, blech), and doing odd-and-end things (taking care of kids for family friends, ect, IT IS MONIES!)

Oh! And I'm writing a book. A friend and I, upon reading Twilight were like "Seriously, I could probably write a better vampire story." So for me it was like adding coal to the fire. I've been working a LOT on it, I'm a 100 pages in and have written it like 3 different times. Characters are all original, some inspired by friends, it's still in the VERY beginning-not edited stage. I might post the first chapter up here to see what people thing. Maybe. I want to type out at least 500 pages, but we'll see.

Okay, time for work, have a good day everyone =D

I feel inspired.

I... have had a rough night. Things never really go the way I have planned for them to go in my life. I have a problem of thriving on the things that go wrong instead of laughing at the things that go wrong and continue to find ways to make it all better.

So anyway, like I said, I was having a rough night when I decided to watch this movie Courtney asked me to request for her to show in her town. They had a one week only viewing of the movie on Youtube, so I decided to stay up tonight instead of going to bed (in which to only thrive on my misgivings) and watch the movie. The movie is called Four Eyed Monsters. [link] .

Very few times after a movie is over have I been inspired. My eyes are still watering from the general idea of creation, love, loss, pain, rejection, confusion, worry, plus more. Never before had a movie pulled so many things out of me, that I didn't even know that I had felt or could feel.

I feel inspired. I need a way to release my frustrations, its been a -very- long time since I have done serious art, actually sat down and drew a picture from an emotion. I need to go back to that place.

I will go back to that place. I will no longer thrive on the things that I do not have, will not have, or is being taken away.

School is out for summer!

Yayyyyyyy!

I finished college not last week, but the Friday before. Though, I guess I didn't really feel as if I was done until I got my grades, which I did last week.

I did very well! I'm very proud of myself, to be honest! I thought I was going to do horrible horrible horrible, but instead I ended up passing everything, even doing better in the classes I fell behind in on midterm time.

So anyway, with that being said I'm going to try and get some new art up soon (very soon) because I'm going away to South Carolina on the second of June and will be gone until the 12th, so thats a pretty long time without any updates.

How is everyone else doing? Is it summer for you yet?

Hello everyone! If you are here then you obviously want to get to know me better (as an artist and maybe as a person) So let me tell you a little bit about myself and my life.

I was born in England due to my father being in the military and moved to the states when I was 2 years old, along with my sister Christina, who at the time was 10 months old. My childhood was basically spent moving around from one base to the next, my mother went though divorce with my father, re-marriage with another man, and I had another sister, then divorce again when I was 13.

When I was about 9 years old I started to get into anime. I think that’s how I started to draw-I tried to draw anime. I started out –horrible- Everything was unproportional, nothing looked right. At the time I thought I was pretty damn good though (hahaha). It took lots of practice to be able to produce what I would call is a ‘good’ picture.

Right now I am currently a college student studying in Education, with the hopes to become a kindergarten teacher someday. Right now I am still living at home with my mother, and step father (from my mothers’ third and very last marriage). I have 3 younger biological sisters, and 2 step sisters and a step brother. I can basically tell you that right now my life is pretty damn good. My friends are the most important thing in my life, and it’s rare that I don’t think of them. They ARE my family.

A lot of the art I posted on here is 2 or 3 years old-if not older. I went though a few years where I didn’t draw anything at all. I’m starting to draw again, which hopefully means that I’ll have some newer stuff on here soon.

I don’t pretend to be the greatest artist. I know I have flaws (which can’t be fixed unless you tell me what you think is wrong). I like critiques and I like to critique when I see something I know I can help to fix. I just recently started to get into photography, though I like to take pictures of people and moments more then I do of scenery and feelings.

Now that you know me better, hopefully you’ll understand my art better as well!

Lots of love<3

-Jamie
